Water hydraulics
Formany manufacturing processes the physical and chemical properties of water as ahydraulic medium, compared with those of oil, offer considerable advantages.Expensive fire prevention measures are not required, nor is the storage ofinflammable oils, with their associated statutory requirements.
Withmany facilities the use of oil hydraulics places the product at risk, such asin engineered wood, rubber and aluminium industries. The use of waterhydraulics removes this problem. Water hydraulics can be found in manyapplication areas, with a strong concentration in the heavy press industry andgeneral hot-forming applications.
